Professor Dr. Ricardo Aroca is professor emeritus in the department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Windsor (Canada). Leads the science group of materials and surfaces were develop numerous research projects funded by public and private entities. He has published over three hundred scientific articles related amplified vibrational spectroscopy on surfaces and their analytical applications as well as fabrication and characterization of nanostructures. He is the author of the book Surface-Enhanced Vibrational Spectroscopy (John Wiley e Sons, 2006), and therefore is considered a world authority in this scientific field. He is an associate member of Canada's Chemical Institute and the Society for Applied Spectroscopy (USA) and has been recognized by the Canadian Society of Spectroscopy with the Gerhard Herzberg Award for his contributions to spectroscopy.
